Plaifa Punthakeirtpaisarn
Plaifa Punthakeirtpaisarn has been on a musical journey since childhood, starting in a family that loves and appreciates music. At the age of around 5, she began playing her first musical instrument, the piano, and found joy in playing. What started as a hobby during her studies eventually turned into a professional pursuit. Through piano lessons at a recognized music institution, she progressed to an outstanding level (Trinity Grade 8 with Distinction). Continuing her musical education, she pursued a Diploma and, with the support of her family, decided to send both Plaifa and her younger sister to study music with scholarships at Trent College in the United Kingdom. This decision came after receiving education from Wathannai School and Bangkok Prep International School in Thailand. Plaifa received scholarships for her musical talent and relocated to the United Kingdom at the age of 10.
Around the age of 12, Plaifa developed an interest in Music Production and composition. She dedicated her free time from studies to composing, singing, and playing music. Over a period of time, she submitted her works to various international competitions in the United Kingdom, earning significant accolades in multiple competitions.
Plaifa continues to pursue advanced classical piano studies and engages in playing various musical instruments such as flute, drums, and composition. The exploration of music in different forms remains a primary goal for learning and producing sound works through experimental blending. This includes cultural perspectives, instrument types, and musical genres, aiming to create distinctive pieces. The focus is on incorporating the complexity of classical music into the production of easily accessible yet multidimensional compositions across various genres, including Classical-Pop, Waltz, Jazz, J-Pop, and K-Pop. Currently, Plaifa resides with her family in the United Kingdom, actively pursuing her musical aspirations. She finds joy in creating works and actively participates in various musical performances, following her musical journey and dreams.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Plaifa also has a keen interest in the arts, particularly Fine Art. She has received scholarships from schools for her artistic endeavors as well.
